At IshqME, every piece is a celebration of style that embodies the tagline: why save the best for last when you can wear it every day?IshqMe Merchandiser JD (Jaipur & Noida)Your role will be to be a part of the operations team and manage the supply chain and inventorymanagement for What do we expect you to do?● Keeping daily track of fitting samples from the factories, fit, size set and PS ensuringthey meet approval timelines.● Style-wise trims review and closure with factories.● Day-to-day problem-solving related to fabrics, patterns, trims, embroidery, etc.● Understanding the pattern and prints from the design team and passing them on to thefactory for strike-off development and sample development followed by tracking thesubmissions.● To visit factories/vendors for follow up/ensuring smooth process of the bulk.Regularvisits to production factories to follow up on production and check on quality Inline.● Production planning and production follow till goods dispatch along with factories toensure timelines are met.● Follow up with vendors for submissions of samples, trims, embroideries, etc.● Aligning meetings with vendors to resolve queries at the beginning of the new collection.● Ensuring the TNA is up to date and briefly followed up to meet the timeline.● Finding new manufacturers who can work as per the required MOQs and can maintainthe quality standards.● Bridging the communication between the internal and external teams.● Market visit to source trims/fabric.● Vendor management and negotiation on cost.● Follow up of the comments sheet and explain the requirements to the factories.● Quality inspection planning along with production planning.● Build constructive supplier relationships and teams with channel partners.Required Education and Skills:● BSc/BTech - Fashion Technology | BSc/Btech - Textile Science | BSc/BTech- ApparelProduction from a reputed institute● A sound understanding of apparel design and manufacturing process.● Knowledge of sourcing and managing the development of bags and jewellery would bean added advantage.● Strong communication and follow-up skills● Organized and Self-Motivated● Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Word, Powerpoint & Excel● Proficiency in speaking English and HindiExperience:● 3-5 years of relevant experienceWhat can you expect from us?● A professional, fair, and safe work environment devoid of nepotism, prejudice and politics.● A workplace culture that encourages creativity bolstered by data● A workplace that emphasizes teamwork over individual brilliance● Compensation that is fair and equitable, performance-based incentives.● A workplace that you feel enthusiastic to get to every morning and make friends for life
