Job DescriptionPosition: Financial Literacy Teacher Location: Gurgaon Institution: Delhi Public School Dwarka Expressway Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are looking for a passionate Financial Literacy Teacher to help students develop essential money management and financial decision-making skills. The role includes classroom teaching, student mentoring, and organizing financial education activities to make learning practical and engaging.Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum & TeachingDevelop and deliver financial literacy lessons for Classes 6–12 covering budgeting, banking, digital payments, investments, insurance, taxation, financial planning, and cybersecurity.Use interactive methods such as case studies, simulations, projects, and activity-based learning.Update content based on current financial trends and NEP 2020 skill development guidelines.Student MentoringGuide students in developing responsible financial habits and decision-making skills.Track student progress and provide feedback.Program DevelopmentOrganize workshops, competitions, and activities such as budgeting challenges and mock stock market games.Collaborate with teachers and participate in school enrichment programs.QualificationsEducationGraduate/Postgraduate in Education, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Management, or related field.B.Ed. preferred as per CBSE norms.Certifications in Financial Planning, Personal Finance, Investment Advisory, or related fields are an advantage.Experience2–5 years of teaching or training experience.Experience in mentoring students or activity-based learning preferred.SkillsStrong communication skills in English and Hindi.Ability to simplify financial concepts for students aged 11–18.Creative teaching approach and strong interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office and digital learning tools.What We OfferOpportunity to build financial literacy education in a leading CBSE school.Collaborative and innovative work environment.Competitive compensation and professional growth opportunities.
