Designation – Associate – Content EditorLocation: MumbaiRole Overview - The Content Editor at upGrad will ensure that all the content (documents, scripts, PPTs, etc) created meets the highest language quality standards.Key Responsibilities (KRAs) Editing, proofreading, and rewriting raw educational content in terms of language and grammar and ensuring it is in accordance with the in-house style guide. Editing and proofreading large volumes of course content with consistent quality under stringent timelines. Preparing training modules on simple as well as complex grammar topics. Delivering grammar/language training sessions for the team of content editors / content strategists as and when required.Skill Set Requirements: Language Skills: An excellent command of the English language. Advanced knowledge of English grammar and punctuation, along with the nuances of US and UK EnglishContent Editing: Experience in editing and proofreading of different types of content the ability to write in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiencesUnderstanding of eLearning Standards: Familiarity with best practices in eLearning content editing and proofreading and the ability to follow an in-house style guideCommunication Skills: Ability to communicate findings and suggest improvements effectively to the content development team,Time Management: Capacity to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
