Spearhead the development of strategic stakeholder engagement and strengthen Henley’s in country presence. Key responsibilities: Lead targeted student recruitment efforts Foster meaningful stakeholder engagement Elevate Henley's profile within the Indian education landscape Set and achieve ambitious student recruitment targets for India Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy Collaborate with Henley’s marketing teams to enhance profile-raising activities Coordinate in-country visits for academic and professional colleagues of Henley  This role offers a unique opportunity to shape Henley's future in one of the world's fastest-growing economies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in connecting talented Indian students with world-class business education while significantly expanding Henley's influence in the region. ResponsibilitiesRecruitment and Student Engagement: ·   Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to achieve Henley’s ambitious recruitment targets across all academic programmes and levels. ·   Manage and respond to enquiries from prospective students, parents, and education agents through various channels (email, phone, social media). ·   Conduct regular visits to schools, colleges, universities, and education fairs across India to promote Henley Business School and engage with potential students ·   Participate in recruitment events, including webinars, information sessions, and alumni gatherings. ·   Implement targeted conversion strategies to transform prospective students into enrolments. ·   Guide students through the application process, providing support and advice on programmes selection, admission requirements, and visa procedures. ·   Engage with alumni networks to leverage their experiences for recruitment initiatives. ·   Organize pre-departure orientations and offer-holder events to ensure a smooth transition for incoming students. Marketing and Brand Development: ·   Design and execute effective market plans tailored to different regions within India, aiming to maximize student enrolment and revenue growth. ·   Collaborate with Henley’s marketing team to develop region-specific promotional materials, including brochures, digital content, and social media campaigns. ·   Support Henley’s social media presence in India, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement with the target audience. ·   Implement and monitor online marketing initiatives, including targeted advertising and search engine optimization strategies.  Develop and maintain relationships with local media outlets to increase the institution's visibility in India.  Market Intelligence and Analysis: ·      Conduct regular market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Indian education sector. ·      Analyse competitor strategies and offerings to maintain Henley’s competitive edge. ·      Monitor changes in education policies, visa regulations, and economic factors that may impact student enrolments. ·      Provide detailed reports and recommendations to senior management on market dynamics and potential growth areas. ·      Use data analytics to inform decision-making and refine recruitment strategies. Stakeholder Management: ·      Build and maintain strong relationships with key education agents, high school counsellors, and institutional partners across India. ·      Liaise with various internal departments (admissions, academic faculties etc.) to ensure seamless recruitment and enrolment processes. ·      Collaborate with British Council and other relevant organisations to promote UK higher education. ·      Represent Henley at high-level meetings with government officials, corporate partners, and other influential stakeholders. Knowledge Management: ·      Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of Henley’s academic programmes, admission requirements, and application procedures. ·      Stay informed about scholarship opportunities, support services, and Henley’s performance in national and international rankings. ·      Develop expertise in the equivalency of Indian qualifications to effectively advise on programme suitability. ·      Keep abreast of developments in the Indian education system and changing student preferences. This role requires a dynamic professional with excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the Indian education market, and the ability to work independently while supporting broader institutional goals. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, culturally sensitive, and passionate about promoting international education opportunities. Please note: This role demands a high degree of mobility and flexibility. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with frequent domestic travel (8-12 weeks in a year) and prepared for an annual international trip to the UK.Person Specification: Education and Experience: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in marketing or related field. • Minimum 3 plus years of experience in international student recruitment, with a focus on the UK higher education market. • Proven track record in developing and implementing effective recruitment and conversion strategies. • Extensive experience in managing agent networks for student recruitment. • Demonstrable success in business development within the UK higher education sector (Desirable).  Knowledge and Skills: • In-depth understanding of the global higher education landscape, particularly the UK market. • Comprehensive knowledge of UK university admissions processes and visa systems. • Strong market research and analytical skills, with the ability to produce insightful reports and proposals. • Excellent project management and budget handling capabilities. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management. • Fluency in English and relevant local languages, with excellent presentation and communication skills.  Personal Attributes: • Passionate about international education and its positive impact on students' lives. • Strong ethical standards and commitment to integrity in all work-related activities. • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment. • Flexible approach to work, including willingness to work unconventional hours when required. • Cultural sensitivity and well-developed negotiation skills. Reporting: The Regional Advisor supporting Henley Business School will be an employee of OneStep Global and report to Senior Regional Advisor supporting University of Reading.
