ResponsibilitiesSet up and run assembly processes for linear actuators, motors, gear systems, and sub-assembliesDefine assembly sequences, torque specs, tooling requirements, and work instructionsSupport prototype builds, pilot runs, and early production batchesTranslate engineering BOMs and drawings into manufacturing-ready processesDevelop SOPs, Process flow diagrams, Assembly checklists, DFM/DFA feedback into product designWork with external vendors for - Manufacturing, Procurement and support vendor qualification, audits, and first-article approvalsResolve manufacturing and quality issues with suppliersWho you areFinal year B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or recently graduatedCurious, hands-on, and self-motivated with a solid grasp of core mechanical concepts (dynamics, materials, thermals)1-2 years of experience in - Manufacturing operations, Industrial or hardware startup environmentsStrong understanding of - Mechanical tolerances & fits, Machine capabilities, Assembly sequencing, and production SOPsComfortable on the shop floor and in fast-moving startup setupsStrong ownership mindset
