Special Educator for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Learning Disabilities (LD)Multiple positions openLocation: Nallagandla, Hyderabad, India - 500019Company: Vathsalya Child NeuroNurture Centre (CNNC), HyderabadAt Vathsalya CNNC, the Special Educator (ASD) is expected to promote communication, social development, adaptive functioning, and overall quality of life for children on the neuro divergent spectrum (autism spectrum or specific learning disabilities, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, and other learning difficulties). Educational BackgroundBachelor’s or master’s degree in special education (with specialization in Autism or Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities).Professional SkillsProficiency in administering and interpreting ASD assessment tools (e.g., ABLLS‑R, VB‑MAPP, AFLS).Ability to design and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans.Knowledge of structured teaching approaches: ABA, NET, DTT, social stories, video modelling.Skills in behaviour management, functional behaviour assessment (FBA), and sensory support strategies.Collaboration & CommunicationExperience working in multidisciplinary teams (psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, paediatricians).Strong communication skills to guide and train parents/families in home programmes and behaviour strategies.Capacity to liaise with mainstream and special schools for inclusive education practices.Personal AttributesEmpathy, patience, and adaptability in working with diverse learner profiles.Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous professional development.Organisational skills for data collection, progress monitoring, and reporting.Experience: Freshers may also apply Salary: As per the industry standards
