Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced L2 Wireless / SD-WAN / LAN-WAN Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network operations and support. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Wireless, SD-WAN, LAN, and WAN technologies, along with a genuine/original CCNA certification. The role involves providing Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting network issues, monitoring performance, and ensuring network availability across enterprise environments.Key Responsibilities:Provide Level 2 support for Wireless, SD-WAN, LAN, and WAN infrastructure.Diagnose and troubleshoot network incidents, outages, and performance issues within SLA timelines.Configure, monitor, and maintain routers, switches, wireless controllers, access points, and SD-WAN devices.Handle incident management, problem management, and escalation support for complex network issues.Perform root cause analysis for recurring network problems and suggest preventive measures.Support network changes, upgrades, patching, and implementation activities.Monitor network health, bandwidth utilization, and device availability using network monitoring tools.Work closely with L1, L3, vendors, and cross-functional teams for issue resolution.Maintain accurate documentation for network diagrams, configurations, SOPs, and incident records.Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and operational procedures.Required Skills:Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking conceptsHands-on experience in Wireless technologies and troubleshootingExperience with SD-WAN solutionsGood understanding of:Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRPSwitching technologies: VLAN, STP, EtherChannelWAN technologies and circuit troubleshootingWireless controllers, access points, SSID, RF basicsVPN, ACL, NAT, DHCP, DNSExperience working on Cisco routers, switches, and wireless devicesGood understanding of network monitoring and ticketing toolsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsGood verbal and written communication skillsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related fieldCCNA certification (Original/Valid certification is mandatory)5+ years of relevant experience in network operations/supportPreferred Skills:Experience with enterprise-grade SD-WAN platformsExposure to ITIL-based support environmentKnowledge of firewall and network security conceptsExperience in handling major incident calls and change implementationKey Competencies:Problem-solving abilityOwnership and accountabilityTeam collaborationAbility to work in shifts and under pressureCustomer-focused approachBenefitsHealth insurance coverage for self, spouse and kids.Long-term benefit savings plan with employer matching contributionsOpportunities for professional development and advancement within the organization
