Role: Associate Manager – Lab Centralized MonitoringLocation: Kochi (Work from office, 5 days a week)OverviewSeeking a strong clinical professional with leadership experience to manage centralized monitoring activities for moderate to complex protocols. The role requires prior line management experience and the ability to lead a mid-sized team effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of Centralized Monitoring Project Coordinators (CPCs).Oversee workload planning, task assignment, mentoring, performance reviews, and staff development.Handle employee relations, training, onboarding, and HR-related actions.Build strong collaboration with global project and operational teams to ensure quality and delivery.Ensure staff have required training, tools, and access; monitor quality through mini-audits.Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.Track departmental and individual metrics; support continuous improvement initiatives.Assign resources based on skill and experience, ensuring optimal study support.QualificationsMinimum 1 year experience as a Line Manager.5+ years Clinical background (mandatory).Experience managing a team of 30–40 members.People management experience in Hospital/Lab settings preferred.Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, therapeutic areas, and protocol basics.Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills.Proficiency in MS Office and ability to build effective working relationships.
