This role acts as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, aligning people strategies with business priorities to enable growth, performance, and organizational health.The role blends strong business acumen, organizational development expertise, and HR leadership, while remaining hands-on in execution. The Associate Director will lead a team of People Success Partners and work closely with COEs to deliver scalable, high-impact people solutions.Leadership & Scope· Lead and coach a team of People Success Partners (HRBPs), building strong HRBP capability and bench strength· Serve as a trusted partner to Senior Leadership and Business Heads· Own people strategy delivery across multiple verticals and geographies· Act as a culture carrier and role model for MarketStar valuesKey Responsibilities:Strategic Business Partnering· Partner with senior leaders to translate business goals into actionable people strategies· Support leadership in workforce planning, org design, and capability building· Provide data-driven insights to influence business and talent decisions· Contribute to long-term business and people strategy, including succession planningTalent Management & Leadership Development· Drive talent planning to ensure the right people, in the right roles, at the right time· Lead succession planning, high-potential identification, and internal mobility· Build manager and leader capability to assess talent, identify future skills, and develop teams· Partner with L&D to evaluate and embed leadership development and coaching programsPerformance Management & Capability Building· Strengthen manager effectiveness in goal setting, feedback, differentiation, and recognition· Act as a consultant to leaders on individual and team performance challenges· Drive fair, consistent, and high-quality performance management practices· Coach leaders on difficult conversations and accountabilityEmployee Engagement & Culture· Partner with leaders to shape, evolve, and sustain a high-performance culture· Drive employee engagement initiatives, action planning, and follow-through· Support onboarding, integration, and engagement of new hires· Champion inclusion, collaboration, and employee experience improvementsChange Management & Organizational Effectiveness· Diagnose organizational challenges and design targeted interventions· Lead and support change initiatives such as restructuring, transformation, or scale-ups· Coach leaders through organizational and cultural change· Manage workforce redeployment or reduction when required, in partnership with LegalEmployee Relations & Compliance· Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues with objectivity and empathy· Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, company policies, and governance standards· Partner with Legal on investigations, risk mitigation, and regulatory matters· Provide day-to-day guidance to leaders on employee lifecycle mattersData, Analytics & Governance· Analyze people metrics and trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities· Use HR data to inform decisions and measure effectiveness of people programs· Partner with HR COEs (TA, L&D, C&B) to deliver integrated solutionsRequired Qualifications & Experience· About 12 –20 years of progressive HR / People Partnering experience· Strong background in Sales, Services, BPO, Consulting, or high-growth environments· Proven experience leading HRBP / People Partner teams· Hands-on experience managing complex employee relations and change initiatives· Bachelor’s degree required; MBA / HR certifications preferredCore Competencies· Strategic thinking with strong execution rigor· Business and financial acumen· Senior stakeholder influence and advisory capability· Change leadership and organizational diagnosis· Coaching mindset with high emotional intelligence· Comfort operating in ambiguity and fast-paced environmentsWhat’s in It for You· Opportunity to shape people strategy for a global, high-growth organization· Work with world-class clients and senior leaders· Strong learning culture with leadership development and certifications· Competitive compensation, comprehensive health coverage, and generous leave· A people-first organization with 60%+ homegrown leaders· Fast-track growth for high-potential talentEqual Opportunity EmployerMarketStar is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
