The role involves shaping academic strategy, advancing research excellence, fostering industry collaboration, and developing world-class faculty and programs in emerging technology domains.Key Responsibilities:Lead the strategic development and growth of the Computer Science school, ensuring global academic standards.Design and oversee undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs aligned with evolving technology and industry needs.Recruit, mentor, and retain high-caliber faculty and research talent.Promote cutting-edge research in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Distributed Systems, and Emerging Technologies.Build strong collaborations with industry, global universities, and research institutions.Drive innovation through interdisciplinary initiatives, research centers, and technology labs.Ensure high-quality teaching, research output, and academic governance.Secure research funding, industry partnerships, and grants to strengthen the school’s research ecosystem.Represent the school in academic forums, industry platforms, and international collaborations.Qualifications & Experience:PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field from a reputed institution.Distinguished academic and research record with strong publications in high-impact journals/conferences.Minimum 15–20 years of academic experience, including leadership roles such as Department Chair, Associate Dean, or Dean.Proven ability to build research programs, attract funding, and lead large academic teams.Strong global academic network and experience collaborating with industry and research organizations.Ideal Candidate Profile:Visionary academic leader with the ability to build a globally recognized Computer Science program.Strong focus on research excellence, innovation, and industry relevance.Demonstrated experience in scaling academic programs and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
