Full Job Description Experience 4 - 8 Years preferably in Sponge Iron Steel Power Plant Qualification Diploma B E B Tech in Electrical Engineering Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Electrical Shift Incharge to manage and supervise all electrical operations during the assigned shift in a Sponge Iron Plant The role involves ensuring smooth functioning of electrical equipment power distribution and preventive maintenance while adhering to safety and quality standards Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor electrical activities during the shift to ensure uninterrupted plant operations Operate and maintain HT LT panels transformers motors DG sets VFDs and switchgear systems Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and coordinate quick rectifications to minimize downtime Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for plant equipment Monitor and maintain records of power consumption load management and shift reports Ensure compliance with safety procedures electrical standards and statutory regulations Lead and guide electricians technicians and shift staff for effective shift operations Coordinate with mechanical production and instrumentation teams for smooth plant functioning Assist in the planning and execution of shutdown maintenance and project-related electrical work Report shift activities breakdowns and corrective actions to higher management Skills Competencies Strong knowledge of HT LT systems motors PLC VFD and control systems Hands-on experience in Sponge Iron Steel Power Plant electrical systems Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure Good leadership and team-handling skills Strong adherence to safety and compliance protocols Job Type Full-time Pay - per month Work Location In person
