HIRING MECHANICAL FITTER Pradhan Industries Odisha About Pradhan Industries Pradhan Industries is a leading graphite mining and beneficiation company based in Odisha with more than 40 years of industry experience We operate advanced wet and dry beneficiation plants and supply high-quality processed graphite to steel foundry lubricant refractory and battery industries across India As part of our plant operations and maintenance strengthening we are hiring experienced Mechanical Fitters for our beneficiation plants Position Mechanical Fitter Department Mechanical Maintenance Location Beneficiation Plant Odisha Mandatory Requirement This role is strictly for candidates with hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in mineral beneficiation mining or heavy process plants Candidates without plant-level mechanical exposure will not be considered Key Responsibilities 1 Mechanical Maintenance Repairs Carry out preventive breakdown and routine maintenance of plant equipment Attend mechanical breakdowns and restore equipment with minimum downtime Maintain crushers screens conveyors ball mills agitators flotation cells pumps filters dryers and packing equipment Perform fitting alignment coupling bearing replacement shaft work and minor fabrication jobs 2 Wet Dry Section Equipment Support Support mechanical operations in wet sections including grinding flotation slurry pumps pipelines valves and thickeners Maintain dry section equipment such as filters dryers blowers sieves elevators and packing systems Ensure smooth running of rotating equipment and material handling systems 3 Preventive Maintenance Plant Uptime Follow preventive maintenance schedules as per SOP Assist in lubrication tightening inspection and condition monitoring activities Identify early signs of mechanical failure and report to supervisors Support shutdown maintenance and equipment overhauling activities 4 Safety Housekeeping Follow safety procedures and ensure PPE usage during all maintenance activities Maintain cleanliness in mechanical work areas and around equipment Follow lock-out and isolation practices during repair work Report unsafe conditions and near-miss incidents 5 Coordination Reporting Coordinate with production electrical and stores teams during maintenance work Maintain basic maintenance records job cards and breakdown details Assist senior engineers during major repairs and installations Eligibility Criteria ITI Fitter Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance at beneficiation plants mining units cement plants power plants or similar heavy industries Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting alignment bearings gearboxes pumps and rotating equipment Ability to work independently during breakdowns Physically fit and willing to work in shifts Willing to stay at or near the plant location Preferred Qualities Strong practical and hands-on approach Quick fault identification and repair capability Disciplined safety-conscious and responsible attitude Ability to work under pressure during breakdowns Team-oriented and cooperative nature What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience and skill level On-site accommodation and food for plant-based roles Long-term and stable employment with a reputed industrial group Opportunity to work on large-scale beneficiation plants and equipment Safe structured and respectful work environment How to Apply Interested candidates may WhatsApp their resume to Or email at info pradhanindustries com Join Pradhan Industries - Process Excellence Production Power Proven Performance Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Pay - per month Work Location In person
