Ltd. is a 40+ year-old engineering firm specialising in wastewater treatment solutions, with 1000+ client engagements and 100+ STPs/ETPs under O&M across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Our work focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, improving treatment performance, and enabling water reuse through sustainable engineering solutions. Position Details: Location: Head Office in Whitefield, BengaluruReporting To: Head- Engineering & ServicesCompensation: Based on previous pay and experience as per industry standardsRole OverviewThe Environmental Engineer- Services will assist in managing multiple decentralized STP and ETP sites, ensuring stable plant operations, regulatory compliance, and effective client coordination.This role provides hands-on exposure to wastewater treatment operations, troubleshooting, technical audits, and plant optimisation, making it ideal for engineers early in their careers who want strong field and operational experience.Key Responsibilities 1.     Plant Operations & Site ManagementSupport management of 15- 20 decentralized STP/ETP sites in BengaluruMonitor plant performance including effluent quality, MLSS levels, chemical dosing, and energy consumption etc.Conduct regular site visits and operational inspectionsEnsure compliance with prescribed discharge and reuse standards by NGT/ PCB2.     Technical Support & TroubleshootingAssist in identifying process, mechanical, and operational issuesSupport root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measuresWork with field teams to stabilise plant performance3.     Client Coordination & DocumentationAssist as a technical contact for clients and facility managersDocument site communications and reports via email and SharePointSupport preparation of monthly O&M reports and performance summaries4.     Repairs & MaintenanceIdentify opportunities for Repairs & Maintenance (R&M) and plant improvementsAssist in preparing R&M quotations and maintaining trackersSupport preventive maintenance planning with mechanics and field teams5.     Operations CoordinationCoordinate with Q&T officers, mechanics, and operatorsTrack preventive maintenance schedules and site activitiesSupport AMC invoicing, collections, and renewal trackingQualification and Experience BE/BTech or MTech in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering1–2+ years of experience in STP/ETP operations, design, or wastewater projectsBasic understanding of biological treatment processes (EAAS/MBR), tertiary treatment, and sludge handlingAbility to read P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and plant layoutsWhy Join us?Hands-on experience in real wastewater treatment plants across BengaluruOpportunity to work on plant optimisation, audits, and upgradesExposure to residential, commercial, and industrial treatment systemsWork with a 40+ year engineering legacy in wastewater treatment
