Team Size : Managing a team of up to 10 members (PF, CoC, ESIC )Role PurposeThe Statutory Compliance Lead / Manager will be responsible for end‑to‑end management of Provident Fund (PF), Certificate of Coverage (CoC), and ESIC compliance for Tech Mahindra and its portfolio companies. The role ensures statutory adherence, audit readiness, risk mitigation, and timely resolution of complex cases, while driving standardisation, automation, and team capability.This role acts as the single point of accountability for PF/CoC/ESIC governance, stakeholder management, and regulatory interactions.Key Responsibilities1. PF / EPFO Compliance (India & Portfolio Companies)Own end‑to‑end PF compliance including:UAN linking for new hires, marking exits separation cases on time , managing 100% compliance as per statutory requirements.Transfers, withdrawals, death cases, retirement cases, partial withdrawal , CoC‑linked PF handling, EPS correctionsData correction, KYC compliance monitoring.Post‑separation PF services and legacy issuesHandle ex-employees and active employees PF query management for all EPFO related grievances.Liaise with EPFO field offices, zonal offices, and consultants to resolve escalationsRepresent the organisation during PF inspections, audits, and Section 7A proceedingsEnsure statutory timelines are met and penalties / interest exposure is minimisedStandardise PF, CoC, and ESIC processes across TechM and portfolio companiesPartner with CIO / IT teams for Automate compliance workflows , Improve system controls and validations, Reduce manual errors and dependency on individualsTrack metrics such as TAT, accuracy, audit findings, and escalation trends2. Certificate of Coverage (CoC) – Own the CoC lifecycle for deputed associates, Application, amendments, extensions, cancellations, and closures3. ESIC Compliance : Drive resolution of ESIC coverage activities for enrolments and benefit‑related employee issues.4.Process Excellence & Automation and Improve system controls and validations in compliance5. Governance, Risk & AuditEstablish strong governance frameworks for PF, CoC, and ESICMaintain audit‑ready documentation, trackers, and approval trailsProactively identify compliance risks and implement corrective actionsDrive root‑cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and prevent reoccurrenceSupport internal, statutory, and external audits with zero‑surprise outcomesKey Skills & CompetenciesDeep expertise in EPF, EPS, CoC, ESIC, and social security regulationsExperience handling EPFO statutory audits, inspections, and regulatory authoritiesAbility to interpret and apply complex statutory provisions pragmaticallyStrong people management and coaching skillsAbility to manage ambiguity and complex escalations, Clear, confident communication with senior stakeholders and authorities.
