Job Description

Position: Digital Products Engineer – Web & AILocation: Prahladnagar, AhmedabadEmployment Type: Full-time | On-siteCompany: Lakshya Asset Management Pvt. Ltd.Experience: 0–4 yearsAbout the RoleWe are looking for a Digital Products Engineer to join Lakshya's core technology team at a pivotal stage of our growth. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role within a small and focused engineering team. You will be building significant parts of our digital infrastructure — from full-stack scalable web applications to intelligent, user-facing AI features — where your work will be foundational, visible, and consequential. If you build end-to-end with confidence, think carefully about user experience, and use AI as a natural part of how you work, this role is for you. What You Will Work OnYou will be working across multiple digital initiatives at Lakshya. These span frontend-heavy web development, backend API work, cloud infrastructure, and meaningful AI-powered user-facing features at the intersection of intelligent systems and personal finance. The scope is broad by design. You will not be joining to maintain what exists; but to build what comes next.Educational QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical discipline — such as B.Tech, B.E., or BCA — is the baseline expectation. That said, we place demonstrated ability above formal credentials. Candidates who do not fit this profile precisely but can show meaningful, real-world engineering work will receive equal consideration.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop responsive, performant frontend interfaces using React and ViteBuild and maintain backend APIs using FastAPI, integrated with MSSQL databasesDevelop and iterate on AI-powered features — including conversational interfaces, context-based dynamic logic, and prompt engineeringWork with Azure for deployment, scaling, and cloud infrastructure managementWrite clean, modular, and maintainable code with a view toward long-term extensibilityCollaborate with team members on architecture decisions, technical scoping, and deliveryParticipate in planning for evolving product requirements as the organisation growsTechnical RequirementsStrong proficiency in React with ViteBackend development experience in Python; FastAPI preferred or a demonstrated ability to adopt it quicklyWorking knowledge of MSSQL — schema design, querying, and application-layer integrationHands-on experience with Azure, at minimum in deployment and environment managementPractical experience building or integrating AI and LLM-powered features using OpenRouter APIs, LangChain, or similar frameworksExperience & BackgroundWe are not looking for a narrow specialist. This role demands someone who moves fluidly across frontend, backend, cloud, and AI — and who understands that in a world where AI tools can close skill gaps rapidly, the limiting factor is rarely knowledge. It is judgment, curiosity, and the will to figure things out.Zero to four years of professional experience is a reasonable baseline, but we will weigh demonstrated range over years on a CV. If you have shipped real products, made architectural decisions, and used AI tools habitually as a force multiplier — you are the profile we have in mind.We are looking for people who do not wait to be told what tool to use or how to approach a problem. Someone who can use AI tools actively across the development workflow for code generation, debugging, documentation, and problem-solving without fully depending on it will thrive.Genuine curiosity about personal finance, wealth management, or fintech is a plus. The problems you will be solving are more interesting when you understand the domain behind them. What We ValueOwnership — you take a problem from brief to production without needing hand-holdingVisual sensibility — you can tell when something looks right and when it does notProduct thinking — you think about the person using the interface, not just the code behind itAI fluency — you use AI tools and frameworks to work faster, better, and more creativelyCommunication — you can discuss technical decisions clearly with non-technical stakeholdersCuriosity — particularly at the intersection of technology, user behaviour, and financial decision-making
