Ltd. is a fast-growing pharmaceutical manufacturing and export company specializing in oral solid dosage forms including tablets, capsules, and specialty formulations. Our products are exported across multiple international markets including Africa, CIS countries, and Southeast Asia.As we continue expanding globally, we are looking for an Assistant Manager – International Business Development to support our international sales and market expansion efforts.Role DescriptionThe Assistant Manager – International Business Development will be responsible for developing and managing export markets, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with international distributors and partners.The role will work closely with the Business Development Head and senior leadership to grow the company’s international presence and increase export revenues.Key ResponsibilitiesMarket DevelopmentIdentify and develop new export markets and business opportunities for pharmaceutical products.Build and manage relationships with international distributors, importers, and pharmaceutical partners.Conduct market research to identify high-potential products and countries for expansion.Sales & Business GrowthAchieve international sales targets for assigned markets.Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, pricing structures, and supply agreements.Coordinate with distributors to ensure timely order placement and business growth.Client Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with existing international clients and partners.Address client inquiries regarding products, pricing, regulatory requirements, and logistics.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.Regulatory & Product CoordinationCoordinate with the regulatory team for product registrations in new markets.Work with internal teams to identify products suitable for specific markets.Track registration timelines and product approvals.Coordination with Internal TeamsWork closely with production, planning, regulatory, QA, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.Monitor order status and ensure timely dispatch of shipments.Trade Shows & Market VisitsRepresent the company at international pharmaceutical exhibitions and trade shows.Conduct market visits to distributors and partners to strengthen business relationships.QualificationsProven expertise in International Business Development and familiarity with International Business practices3–6 years of experience in international pharmaceutical business development or exportsExperience handling pharma exports to Africa, CIS, or Southeast Asia is preferredExperience in Sales with a proven track record of achieving or surpassing targetsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related fieldSkills & CompetenciesStrong Market Research and analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities in global marketsStrong understanding of pharmaceutical export marketsExceptional Communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain international client relationshipsAbility to develop and manage international distributor networksGood understanding of pricing strategies and international trade practicesStrong coordination and relationship management skillsProficiency in additional languages will be considered a plusWhat We OfferOpportunity to work with a rapidly expanding pharmaceutical export companyExposure to international markets and global business developmentCompetitive compensation and performance-based incentivesOpportunities for international travel and market exposure
