Visit: ) The Qualifications We Seek 3-5 years of accounting experience Strong expertise in accrual accounting Demonstrated ability to independently close the books Experience preparing financial statements Advanced experience in balance sheet reconciliations Ability to manage accounting across multiple clients or business entities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accountability Preferred Experience Experience working with US-based companies or clients Background in outsourced accounting firms, consulting, or advisory environments Experience using QuickBooks Online , Xero , or similar accounting platforms Exposure to deferred revenue accounting Experience working in fast-paced or client-service environments Key Success Traits Strong ownership mentality Ability to identify problems proactively Comfort operating with minimal supervision Strong organizational and time management skills Clear written and verbal communication Nice-to-Have (Teachable Skills) Job costing Industry-specific accounting practices Additional accounting platforms Key ResponsibilitiesMonth-End Close Ownership Independently manage the monthly close process Prepare accurate accrual-based financial statements Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data Review balances and identify irregularities before reporting Financial Statement Preparation Prepare balance sheet, income statement, and supporting schedules Maintain reconciliations for all key accounts Investigate discrepancies and resolve financial issues Reconciliations & Analysis Perform complex balance sheet reconciliations Analyze financial data to identify errors or inconsistencies Maintain accurate supporting documentation Multi-Client Accounting Support Manage accounting activities across multiple client entities Prioritize tasks and deadlines across different accounts Maintain strong attention to detail in complex environments Process Improvement & Problem Solving Proactively identify issues within accounting records Investigate root causes of discrepancies Recommend and implement improvements where possible About the Client Our client is a US-based financial advisory and accounting firm that helps founders and service-based businesses gain financial clarity and operational control.
