We work with buyers and suppliers across Australia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced, highly organised Supplier Relations Manager to own and grow our supplier network. You will be the backbone of EEC's supply side, responsible for identifying, vetting, onboarding, and managing supplier relationships across all product categories. This is a senior role with direct impact on EEC's ability to win and deliver deals.Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Acquisition:Identify and onboard 8-10 new quality-verified suppliers per month across food, textile, and speciality product categoriesConduct supplier due diligence: company background, factory capability, certifications, financial stabilityCoordinate factory visits (physical or video) and sample evaluationsMaintain a live, updated, approved supplier database in CRMSupplier Management:Own day-to-day relationships with all active suppliersNegotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and lead timesEnsure all supplier certifications are current (FSSAI, ISO, GOTS, organic, etc.), track expiry dates proactivelyCoordinate pricing updates and availability confirmations for all active buyer inquiries, turnaround within 48 hoursManage sample dispatch for buyer evaluations, coordinate with the Admin Assistant for logisticsMaintain supplier performance scorecards (delivery, quality, responsiveness)Commercial Coordination:Work closely with the BD Manager to ensure supplier quotes are competitive and aligned with buyer requirementsProvide accurate costing inputs for all proposalsFlag supply-side risks proactively (price changes, lead time delays, certification lapses)Reporting:Weekly supplier pipeline reportMonthly supplier performance reviewQuarterly certification audit reportWhat We're Looking For:Must Have:5 - 7 minimum years of experience in procurement, vendor management, supply chain, or sourcing, preferably in food, FMCG, and/or textilesExperience working with export houses or trading companiesExperience managing 20+ supplier relationships simultaneouslyUnderstanding of Incoterms and export documentationStrong negotiation skills, comfortable having direct pricing and terms conversationsHighly organised with a process-driven mindsetExcellent written and verbal English communicationComfortable with CRM tools, Google Workspace, WhatsApp BusinessNice to Have:Experience with food safety certifications (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000)Knowledge of textile quality standards (GOTS, OEKO-TEX)Personality:Reliable, detail-oriented, and thoroughTakes ownership and does not need to be chasedCalm under pressure, can manage multiple supplier conversations simultaneouslyRelationship builder, suppliers trust and respect them Why Join EECBe part of a fast-growing international trade consultancy at an exciting growth stageDirect exposure to global buyers across Africa, the Middle East, and EuropeSenior role with significant ownership and autonomyCompetitive salary with performance-linked incentives (after one year of performance), dynamic, entrepreneurial work environmentHow to ApplySend your CV + a brief note (3-4 lines) on why you are the right fit to: Subject line: /"Supplier Relations Manager — [Candidate Name]/"
