Facilitate mass recruitment, Implement learning & development programs to create strong employee pipeline and design retention programmes. Effective interventions to maintain harmonious Industrial Relations and ensure compliance of all statutory requirements and actively drive HR Infrastructure Setup Drafting, implementing, and rolling out HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Time Office set up and payroll management KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE Responsibilities Manpower Availability & Operations Planning:Prepare and execute long-term Manpower plan to ensure availability of On-roll & Off-role manpower with requisite skills at all timesAct proactively and decisively in hiring the right talent based on projected attrition / Industry trends to ensure minimal open positions across the board. Plan mass hiring and time bound onboarding of employees.Employee & Industrial Relations Management:Oversee the deployment of effective strategic interventions from time to time to maintain harmonious Industrial Relations and smooth operations. Engage with stakeholders on a continuous basis for building trust and creating a positive work environment to achieve desired business goals.Foster harmonious relationship with local government bodies, including DISH, Labour Dept. EPFO and relevant stakeholders for smooth functioning of the business. Facilitate effective management of contract labour by facilitating timely deployment, compliance of applicable laws and mitigation of associated risks.Oversee deployment of effective communication forums for proactive redressal of Employee related grievances/concerns. Advise Line Managers for amicable resolution of shopfloor issues and support them in implementation of any process/safety related initiatives and on management of disciplinary actions Oversee identification and mitigation of unexpected events and incidents and formulate effective strategies for timely and accurate resolution of any crisis situations Performance & Talent Management Drive a culture of meritocracy by educating/sensitizing managers on Performance Management System and guiding them on the qualitative aspects.Facilitate timely and meaningful conversations between the managers and their team members during goal settingProvide guidance and inputs to managers and leadership team on quality of evaluation based on detailed analysis and facilitate a fair process. Design and implement p Performance managements system for Operators and implement the same across the plant. Employee Engagement Drive the execution of initiatives including engagement surveys, leadership connects, skip level meetings, etc. to enhance employee engagement across levels. Facilitate wellbeing of employees via implementation of initiatives on health, education, environment and sports. Oversee effective delivery of corporate services across designated businesses in order to enhance employee experience Oversee and facilitate effective utilization of communication platform channels and forums encourage a 2-way communication. Time Office & Payroll ManagementSet up of time office and making it operational in efficient way. Maintain various MIS on attendance, leave, OT and Prepare and validate attendance data, including overtime and leave records, for timely payroll processing and Process payroll accurately.Compliance Management:Maintain and execute compliance programs, ensuring adherence to labor laws regarding wages, working hours, and benefits. Attend and participate in routine site inspections, internal audits, and maintain records of compliance practices. Also prepare and maintain legal register and documents and attend various inspections.Education Qualifications Full Time Masters in Social Work (MSW)/ Masters in Labour Welfare (MLW)Experience Minimum 07+ years of experience in plant human resources with exposure over large workforce and candidates with experience in setting up green fields is good to have.
