The role will lead the Project Management for all new projects and expansions undertaken by the SCO Region. The candidate will play a very important role right from the project acceptance stage and will help in closing the technical evaluations and lead the implementation of projects.About the Role - Project Management – The role will lead the planning, design, and implementation of civil work for new high value projects in coordination with the global Project Team for Ports as well as Logistics Business and will be responsible for the project expansions undertaken at SCO region. The role will also coordinate and collaborate with the consultants and inhouse team of engineers and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.Project Assessment – The role will provide timely and cost-effective technical support to Business Development Team in assessing the feasibility of new proposals, cost estimate, advise on appointment of consultants, finalizing layouts, due diligence etc.Identification of Right consultants – Appointment and review of the technical consultants who will deliver the project. Work closely with the consultants for the drawings and ensuring the drafted plan has been implemented.Land Acquisition – The role will also be responsible for leading the land acquisition function. The role will Identify suitable land parcel with the help of team, oversee land acquisition and the ensure the compliances are being taken care of. Will also be responsible for managing land records.Project Review with global team - To coordinate with global team and review the project plan and ensure the work is completed as per the project schedule. To also ensure that work is completed as per the agreement and defined guidelines in respect to material submittals, drawings and actual site construction and taking necessary corrective action wherever required.Procurement - Work closely with the Regional Procurement Head in the tender negotiation and ensure the procurement is done well within the budget.Repair & Maintenance – Review and Monitor Civil repair and maintenance work at sites and ensuring periodic inspection is happening.Qualifications - Civil Engineering from Tier 1 Campus only.Required Skills - Proven experience of 20+ years in civil engineering projects.Expertise in conducting structural analysis and technical know-how of civil work.Ideal candidate should have hands on experience in either Ports or Logistics Parks built out.In-depth knowledge of Ports and Terminals and Logistics: Infrastructure Design, construction techniques and industry best practices.Strong Leadership, Communication and Negotiation skills.Excellent Problem solving and Decision-Making skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
