Role OverviewThe Founding Principal will be responsible for establishing, leading, and scaling a new Pallavi Group school from inception to full operational capacity. This role demands strong academic leadership, operational excellence, strategic planning, robust parent engagement, and strong documentation practices, ensuring the school reflects the Pallavi Group’s vision, culture, and commitment to quality education. Key Responsibilities1. School Establishment & AffiliationLead end-to-end school setup, including infrastructure readiness, academic planning, staffing, and systems.Manage CBSE / Cambridge affiliation processes, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.Develop, implement, and maintain school policies, SOPs, manuals, and governance documentation aligned with Pallavi Group standards.Coordinate with management on timelines, budgets, approvals, and compliance documentation.2. Academic LeadershipDesign and implement a robust academic framework from Early Years to higher grades.Ensure curriculum alignment, lesson planning, assessments, and continuous improvement.Promote innovative teaching practices, NEP alignment, and continuous teacher professional development.Monitor academic outcomes and student progress through structured, data-driven reviews and reports.3. Team Building & Human ResourcesRecruit, onboard, mentor, and retain high-quality teaching and non-teaching staff.Build a strong leadership team including coordinators and department heads.Foster a positive school culture based on collaboration, accountability, and excellence.Conduct staff appraisals, documentation, and implement performance management systems.4. Admissions, Branding, Growth & Parent EngagementDrive student admissions, enrolment planning, and retention strategies.Collaborate with marketing teams for branding, outreach, and community engagement.Actively engage with parents through orientations, PTMs, open houses, and regular communication forums.Address parent concerns effectively, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.Maintain accurate admissions, enrolment, and parent communication records and documentation.5. Operations, Administration & DocumentationOversee day-to-day school operations, including transport, safety, housekeeping, and security.Ensure compliance with safety norms, child protection policies, and statutory regulations.Manage budgets, procurement, vendor relationships, and cost optimization.Establish and monitor documentation systems for academics, HR, finance, compliance, and audits.Ensure all records, reports, and statutory documents are updated and readily available.6. Student Development & Well-beingPromote holistic education through co-curricular and extracurricular programs.Ensure strong student discipline, pastoral care, and counselling frameworks.Uphold child safety, POCSO compliance, and student welfare standards.Build a nurturing, inclusive, and safe school environment.7. Stakeholder & Management EngagementAct as the primary liaison between the school, parents, and Pallavi Group management.Provide regular, structured reports on academics, admissions, finance, operations, and compliance.Ensure the school consistently upholds Pallavi Group’s values, brand reputation, and quality benchmarks.
