Every creation is not just a product but a story of tradition and community upliftment.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Textile Designer to design innovative and high-quality rugs for our brand. The role involves developing original concepts, patterns, textures, and colorways that align with the brand’s aesthetic and market trends.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign original rug concepts, patterns, and color palettesDevelop designs for different rug techniques (hand-tufted, handwoven, flatweave, knotted, etc.)Create detailed design files, mood boards, and technical specificationsWork closely with production and sampling teams to ensure accurate executionResearch trends, materials, and techniques in rugs and home textilesMake design revisions based on feedback and sampling resultsEnsure designs meet quality, cost, and timeline requirementsRequirementsDegree or diploma in Textile Design or a related fieldProven experience in designing rugs or home textilesStrong understanding of yarns, weaves, textures, and color combinationsProficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD, or similar)Ability to translate creative ideas into production-ready designsStrong attention to detail and time management skillsPreferred SkillsExperience working with rug manufacturers or artisan clustersKnowledge of sustainable materials and processesUnderstanding of global and contemporary design trends
