Our mission is to provide high-quality solar solutions while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.About the RoleThe Maintenance Specialist – Machine Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and efficiency of all machinery used in the solar module manufacturing line. The role involves planning preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, improving machine uptime, and leading the maintenance team to achieve production targets with minimal downtime.Responsibilities1.Maintenance Management Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for all production equipment.Ensure high machine uptime and operational efficiency across the solar module manufacturing line.Develop and maintain maintenance schedules and SOPs.2.Equipment Handling Manage maintenance of key machines such as:Stringer MachinesLayup MachinesLaminatorsEL Testing MachinesFraming MachinesJunction Box Fixing MachinesSun SimulatorsFlash Testers3.Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis Identify equipment failures and implement corrective actions.Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for repeated breakdowns.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime.4.Team Management Lead and supervise maintenance engineers, technicians, and operators.Provide training and technical guidance to the maintenance team.Ensure effective manpower utilization and shift planning.5.Spare Parts & Inventory Maintain adequate spare parts inventory for critical equipment.Coordinate with vendors for procurement and servicing of machines.Monitor spare consumption and optimize maintenance costs.6.Process Improvement Work closely with production and quality teams to improve machine performance.Implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices.Drive automation and efficiency improvements in the production line.7.Safety & Compliance Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and company policies.Maintain documentation for maintenance records, audits, and regulatory requirements.QualificationsEducation: BE / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics EngineeringExperience: 10 to 15 YearsRequired SkillsStrong knowledge of solar module manufacturing equipment.Expertise in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems.Experience in preventive maintenance planning and breakdown analysis.Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S practices.Strong leadership and team management skills.Preferred SkillsExperience in solar PV module manufacturing industry.Hands-on exposure to automated production lines.Experience in machine installation, commissioning, and upgrades.Please do share your updated resume at Regards,Praveenkumar ChatterHR Team | EMMVEE
