The candidate will be responsible for generating revenues from institutional clients, and ensuring best execution while maintaining strong coordination with sales, research, and clients.Profile - Institutional Equity Sales TraderExperience – 5 to 10 Years Location – BKC Key ResponsibilitiesOverlooking trade execution across exchanges in line with client instructions and market conditions.Ensure best execution for institutional orders. * Market Company’s Equity Research and other reports.Cross sell other products of the company ( QIP/ IPO etc).Get market information/ intelligence.Hands on experience of Bloom and Omnesys.Monitor market movements, liquidity, and trading volumes to support execution strategies.Coordinate closely with institutional sales teams and research analysts.Manage large block trades and program trades efficiently.Maintain compliance with SEBI regulations and internal trading policies.Maintain accurate trade records and ensure proper post-trade reporting.Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients and counterparties.Key RequirementsMaster’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.5–10 years of experience in institutional equity sales trading.Strong understanding of Indian equity markets, global markets, trading platforms, and market microstructure.Experience working with institutional clients such as FIIs, DIIs, Mutual Funds, and PMS/AIFs.Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.NISM / relevant market certifications will be preferred.Skills RequiredStrong market knowledgeHigh attention to detailRisk management and execution skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced trading environmentStrong coordination with sales and research teams
