The role involves building and maintaining data pipelines, performing data transformations, supporting testing cycles, and ensuring smooth ETL deployments across enterprise data platforms.The ideal candidate should have solid experience in Talend Data Integration, SQL development, and ETL pipeline implementation.Key Responsibilities1. ETL DevelopmentDesign and develop Talend ETL/ELT pipelines to support enterprise data integration initiatives.Implement data transformations, mappings, and validation logic.Integrate data from multiple sources including relational databases and enterprise systems.Ensure ETL pipelines are efficient, scalable, and maintainable.2. Data Quality & GovernanceImplement data quality checks and validation rules within ETL processes.Support PII masking and compliance requirements where applicable.Maintain proper data mapping documentation and lineage tracking.3. Testing & ValidationPerform Unit Testing (UT) for Talend jobs and transformation logic.Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and resolve data issues.Collaborate with business teams during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).4. Deployment & Environment SupportDeploy ETL jobs using Talend Administration Center (TAC).Support environment management across Development, SIT, UAT, and Production.Assist with release activities and production deployment.5. Production SupportProvide post-deployment support and troubleshooting.Analyze data issues and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Monitor ETL job performance and assist in optimization.Required Skills & Experience6–8 years of experience in ETL Development / Data Integration.Strong hands-on experience with Talend Data Integration.Excellent SQL and PL/SQL skills.Experience working with Talend Administration Center (TAC).Understanding of data quality frameworks and governance practices.Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and production deployments.Good to HaveExperience working with large-scale data platforms.Exposure to cloud data environments or modern data engineering tools.Talend Lead – Data IntegrationLocation: Dubai (On-site)Experience: 9 – 12 YearsAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Talend Lead to drive end-to-end data integration initiatives across complex enterprise environments. The role involves leading ETL architecture, designing scalable data pipelines, enforcing data governance standards, and managing deployments across multiple environments.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Talend Data Integration, ETL architecture, SQL optimization, and enterprise data platforms, along with experience leading teams and managing production releases.Key Responsibilities1. ETL Architecture & Data IntegrationLead the design and implementation of scalable Talend ETL/ELT pipelines for enterprise data integration.Define data architecture, transformation logic, and integration frameworks across multiple data sources.Ensure pipelines are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.Establish data standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for ETL development.2. Technical LeadershipProvide technical guidance and mentoring to Talend developers and data engineers.Review ETL code, data models, and pipeline design to ensure quality and scalability.Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.3. Data Governance & ComplianceDefine and enforce data governance frameworks and data quality standards.Implement PII masking, validation rules, and regulatory compliance controls.Maintain data lineage, metadata standards, and audit compliance.4. CI/CD & Environment StrategyDesign and manage deployment pipelines using Talend Administration Center (TAC).Implement CI/CD frameworks for automated ETL deployment and release management.Ensure consistency across Development, SIT, UAT, and Production environments.5. Release Management & Production StabilityLead production deployment planning, cutover strategy, and release execution.Coordinate with Change Advisory Board (CAB) for production releases.Maintain rollback strategies and release documentation.6. Post-Production Support & OptimizationProvide post-go-live hypercare support and ensure production stability.Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical incidents.Continuously optimize ETL job performance based on production workloads.Required Skills & Experience9–12 years of experience in Data Integration / ETL Development.Strong expertise in Talend Data Integration and ETL architecture.Advanced SQL and database performance optimization skills.Hands-on experience with Talend Administration Center (TAC).Strong understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and PII masking.Experience managing SIT, UAT, and production deployments.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.Good to HaveExperience working in financial or regulatory data environments.Exposure to cloud data platforms or modern data engineering ecosystems.
