For more information visit Overview : Senior Engineer Platform, you will provide technical leadership in the design, implementation, and operation of an enterprise-scale Kubernetes platform across highly regulated on-premises environments. This senior role requires deep L3-level expertise in both Linux systems engineering and Kubernetes architecture. You will define the strategic direction for virtualization and cluster lifecycle management, platform reliability, and advanced Linux management, working closely with security and development teams to deliver a secure, observable, and highly performant platform at extreme scale.Technology ,Tools and Hardware -Core: Kubernetes, Linux (RHEL/Rocky), Prometheus, Grafana, CICD ,Docker, Helm, Ansible, Git, Supermicro, Dell iDRAC, and enterprise monitoring/logging systems. Responsibilities :Build, and operate a highly available and fault-tolerant Kubernetes platform (control plane and worker nodes) with a focus on resiliency and scale .Drive advanced Linux systems engineering (L3/kernel level) across the fleet including deep kernel tuning, complex systemd administration, advanced network configurations, enterprise storage solutions, rigorous security hardening and expert level performance problem resolution .Lead collaboration with application development teams on production readiness, resource management optimization, pod disruption budgets, and advanced auto-scaling strategies .Define and enforce cluster lifecycle management processes (strategic provisioning, complex upgrade methodologies, robust backup/DR strategies, long-term capacity planning, and data migration) .Implementation of advanced network and security infrastructure : CNI solutions, advanced ingress controllers, comprehensive service mesh architectures, internal PKI systems.Oversee enterprise storage solutions (CSI), manage artifact lifecycle policies, and optimize registry performance.Drive the application of SRE principles and define and track key service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs), and error budgets.Implement and monitor key SRE metrics (Four Golden Signals) to measure service performance: availability , latency , error rate , traffic , and saturation.Lead high-impact cost and performance optimization initiatives. Conduct rigorous capacity and scalability testing to accommodate extreme workloads.Track incident metrics such as MTTD (Mean Time to Detect) , MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution) , and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) to continuously improve your incident response processes and system resilience . Mandatory requirements :6 to 18 years of relevant telco industry experience in infrastructure engineering or SRE,with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex environments.Deep L3 Linux expertise (performance analysis, complex networking, storage architecture, security internals) and expert level container runtime knowledge.Proficiency in bare metal Kubernetes deployments and Virtualization in Development environments .Expert-level proficiency in host-level networking, DNS architecture, TLS management, load balancing strategies, and advanced container networking .Proven application of SRE practices at scale : major incident leadership, capacity/scalability strategy development, advanced change management.Architectural knowledge of security hardening principles, advanced RBAC models, pod security mechanisms, and secret management infrastructure .
