Key Responsibilities – Industrial Relations 1. IR Strategy & Governance - Drive implementation of uniform Industrial Relations (IR) strategies and practices across locations. - Establish a seamless network of IR teams to ensure a consistent and effective approach in managing IR matters. 2. Government & External Stakeholder Management - Liaise and coordinate with State Government bodies and relevant statutory authorities. - Develop strong working relationships with Labour Departments and regulatory institutions. 3. Legal & Dispute Management - Provide guidance and handholding support in HR-related legal matters. - Coordinate with empanelled legal firms for timely and effective resolution of cases. - Manage and support high-impact legal matters in alignment with organizational priorities. - Represent the organization before labour authorities to ensure a unified stance in Industrial Disputes. 4. Union & IR Intelligence Management - Build and sustain a strong IR intelligence network. - Develop constructive engagement with Trade Unions and Labour Authorities. - Proactively update management on emerging risks, union dynamics, and labour environment trends. 5. Vigilance & Disciplinary Processes - Monitor and facilitate vigilance and disciplinary processes. - Ensure effective utilization of systems such as BAMS and DWS for managing DP cases. - Support timely adherence to disciplinary procedures to achieve desired outcomes. 6. Capability Building - Drive capability development initiatives for IR and BA Cell teams through structured interventions and training programs. 7. Statutory & Institutional Coordination - Coordinate responses for RTI matters, State Assembly queries, and Standing Committee submissions. 8. Compliance Management - Monitor compliance pertaining to outsourced workforce and contract labour. 9. Industrial Harmony & Change Management - Act as a change agent in fostering harmonious industrial relations aligned with the organization’s philosophy and values. 10. Settlement & Conciliation - Lead and manage Long-Term Settlement (LTS) negotiations and conciliation processes to ensure stability and continuity in operations.
