Industry: Fire Protection Experience: 04 – 06 Years Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical Preferred) + MBA in Sales & Marketing Grade / Level: Executive / Mid-Level CTC: As per company standards Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and technically sound Sales Engineer with experience in the Fire Protection / Industrial Valves segment. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, handling techno-commercial proposals, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of projects from enquiry to dispatch. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development - Identify and develop new business opportunities in the fire protection industry. - Generate leads and convert them into sales through effective client engagement. - Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess their requirements. - Lead generation, handling enquiries & tenders, coordinating with inside sales team for quotations. - Technical & commercial discussions and order finalisation. 2. Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. - Provide technical support and guidance regarding fire protection products and valve solutions. - Handle client inquiries, product demonstrations, and contract negotiations. - Relationship building to obtain project information and repeat business. 3. Technical & Proposal Management - Preparation and submission of Techno-Commercial Offers / Quotations for Globe, Gate, Check & Ball Valves. - Sizing of Control Valves using software like Conval 9, Samson, Glucon, Micro 3. - Resolving technical and commercial queries from customers. - Review enquiries for special requirements (TAT, 3.2 certification, etc.). - Selection of actuators and providing cost-effective technical solutions. - Preparing tender-related documents as per RFQ requirements. 4. Post-Order & Execution Management - Work Order preparation in ERP system. - Follow-ups for GAD / ITP submission. - Manufacturing schedule & dispatch coordination with customers. - Post-order correspondence and execution tracking till dispatch. - Payment follow-ups and order processing coordination. - Attending technical meetings at client locations as required. - Ensuring compliance with ASME, ASTM, BS, ISO, SHELL MESC, SHELL SPE, PDO SP & other end-user specifications. 5. Sales Strategy & Reporting - Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets. - Monitor performance and prepare regular sales activity reports. - Participate in industry exhibitions and networking events. - Prepare and deliver technical presentations to stakeholders. Key Skills Required: - Strong communication & negotiation skills. - Excellent techno-commercial understanding of fire protection & valve systems. - Experience in CRM software & MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Ability to interpret technical specifications and deliver customer-focused solutions. - Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and detail-oriented professional.
