This is a strategic role requiring a professional who can operate in an independent capacity to identify, analyze, and win complex government tenders. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) portal and various state/central e-procurement platforms, ensuring Esconet’s high-performance solutions are positioned competitively and compliantly.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Bid Management: Lead the entire bidding lifecycle, from identifying relevant RFPs/RFQs to final submission and post-bid follow-ups.Government & Public Sector Focus: Expertise in navigating the nuances of Government of India (GoI) tenders, including technical compliance, EMD/PBG formalities, and contract terms.Strategic Pricing & Commercials: Develop complex price bids and commercial models. Assist management with bid pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining healthy margins.Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate seamlessly with Sales, Pre-Sales, Legal, and Finance departments to gather technical specifications and legal clearances required for a winning proposal.OEM Collaboration: Leverage exposure in handling OEM-backed bids (MAF/LoA coordination) to strengthen technical eligibility.Compliance & Risk Management: Thoroughly review tender documents to identify risks, mandatory requirements, and "hidden" clauses to ensure 100% submission accuracy and avoid disqualification.Database & Document Control: Maintain a high-integrity repository of past bids, technical certifications, and customer profiles to streamline future responses.Portal Mastery: Act as the subject matter expert for GeM (Custom Bids, BoQ Bids, L1 purchase) and all major E-Tendering portals (CPPP, State portals, etc.).Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: Minimum 5 years of core experience in Government Bidding within the IT Hardware/Infrastructure domain.Technical Proficiency: Expert-level command over MS Excel (for complex commercial bidding) and MS Word/PowerPoint (for high-quality proposal documentation).Independence: Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of the bid office.Executive Presence: Experience interacting with executive-level staff and government officials during pre-bid meetings or clarification rounds.Contractual Expertise: Solid understanding of contract law, liquidated damages (LD), and standard government terms and conditions.Preferred QualificationsExisting relationships or experience with major OEMs for bid support preferableAbility to join immediately or within a short notice period.Why Join Us?At Esconet, you will be at the forefront of India's digital transformation, working with cutting-edge GPU and Supercomputing technology under the HexaData brand.
