Plywood Production Manager Oversees all aspects of the plywood manufacturing process ensuring efficient production adherence to quality standards and timely delivery within budget Key responsibilities include managing production staff monitoring workflow optimizing equipment usage implementing quality control measures and minimizing waste to achieve production targets and maintain high safety standards Key Responsibilities Production Planning Scheduling Develop and manage production schedules to meet delivery deadlines and demand Team Leadership Management Supervise and mentor the production team including shift supervisors and other staff Quality Control Implement and enforce strict quality control at every stage of production to ensure products meet industry and customer standards Process Optimization Identify and implement improvements to production processes machinery and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce costs Resource Management Oversee the use of raw materials equipment and human resources to maximize productivity and minimize waste Budget Cost Management Ensure production activities stay within budget and work to improve cost-effectiveness Safety Compliance Uphold high safety standards within the plant and ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards Performance Monitoring Track and analyze key performance indicators KPIs related to quality cost throughput and on-time delivery Qualifications Skills Technical Expertise In-depth knowledge of Plywood manufacturing machinery and materials used in plywood production Leadership Communication Ability to lead motivate and effectively communicate with a production team Problem-Solving Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address production challenges and optimize operations Quality Safety Focus Commitment to maintaining high quality standards and ensuring a safe working environment Familiarity with Production Software Experience with production planning and scheduling tools such as ERP system Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay - per month Work Location In person
