1 Job Purpose To ensure smooth and safe operation of plant machinery by performing installation fitting preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment thereby minimizing breakdowns and supporting uninterrupted production 2 Key Roles Responsibilities Perform installation alignment and fitting of pumps motors gearboxes piping valves and other plant equipment Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical systems in WTP PCTP boilers turbines and process equipment Supervise and guide junior fitters helpers during shift maintenance activities Ensure timely lubrication tightening and replacement of spare parts to reduce downtime Maintain proper records of maintenance activities in logbooks Follow safety protocols PPE usage and LOTO Lock Out-Tag Out while handling equipment Assist in preparing maintenance checklists schedules and spare part requisitions Coordinate with the operations and EHS team for safe execution of jobs Support root cause analysis RCA for recurring equipment failures Report any abnormalities unsafe conditions or breakdowns to the Maintenance Incharge 3 Qualifications Experience ITI Diploma in Fitter Mechanical trade from a recognized institute Minimum 5-7 years experience as a Fitter in a process chemical ethanol power plant Hands-on knowledge of pumps compressors blowers heat exchangers piping systems Familiarity with welding gas cutting alignment tools and safety practices Job Type Full-time Pay - per year Benefits Leave encashment Paid sick time Provident Fund Experience Fitter 5 years Preferred Work Location In person Expected Start Date
