Position Trained Graduate Teacher TGT - Social Science Grade Level VI-X Reporting To Principal Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate TGT Social Science teacher to educate students of classes VI-X The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge effective teaching strategies and the ability to engage students in interactive and meaningful learning experiences Key Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery Plan and deliver engaging lessons as per the prescribed syllabus CBSE Board Use innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student understanding of History Geography Civics and Economics Integrate technology and multimedia resources to make learning interactive Student Assessment Progress Monitoring Design and conduct formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning Provide timely feedback and support to help students improve Maintain student records grades and performance reports Classroom Management Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment Implement discipline policies effectively while fostering student motivation Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students Co-curricular Activities Learning Enrichment Organize educational field trips debates quizzes and project-based learning activities Mentor students for competitions and exhibitions related to social science Collaboration Communication Coordinate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning strategies Engage with parents through PTMs and regular updates on student progress Participate in faculty meetings training programs and workshops Administrative Responsibilities Prepare lesson plans teaching materials and subject-related documentation Ensure adherence to school policies and guidelines Qualifications Skills Educational Qualification Bachelor s Master s degree in History Geography Political Science Economics with a B Ed Experience Minimum 1 year of teaching experience Skills Required Strong command over the subject and excellent communication skills Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and resources Ability to motivate and mentor students effectively Classroom management and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with CBSE curriculum Exposure to experiential learning and activity-based teaching Familiarity with educational technology and online learning platforms Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay - per month Work Location In person
