Hostel Warden To ensure the smooth functioning discipline safety and overall welfare of students residing in the hostel by maintaining a homely environment conducive to personal and academic growth Key Responsibilities Hostel Administration Supervise daily hostel operations including accommodation cleanliness maintenance and safety Maintain records of hostel occupancy attendance and student movement in out register Coordinate with housekeeping security and maintenance staff for hostel upkeep Ensure timely repairs of electrical plumbing and other facilities 2 Student Welfare and Discipline Foster a safe caring and disciplined environment for students Monitor student behavior and counsel them when required Implement hostel rules and ensure adherence to code of conduct Handle grievances interpersonal conflicts and emergencies calmly and effectively 3 Health Hygiene and Safety Ensure hygiene standards in rooms bathrooms and common areas Monitor food quality and dining hall operations in coordination with mess staff Keep a check on student health and coordinate with medical personnel for emergencies Conduct regular safety drills and ensure compliance with safety protocols 4 Communication and Reporting Maintain regular communication with parents teachers and administration regarding student welfare Submit periodic reports on hostel functioning attendance and disciplinary issues Keep records of leave applications night-outs and visitors 5 Mentoring and Student Development Act as a mentor and guide for hostel students providing emotional and academic support Organize hostel activities celebrations and motivational sessions Encourage a sense of community responsibility and cooperation among students Job Type Full-time Pay - per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
