Job Summary We are looking for a skilled JumpMind Developer with experience in JumpMind SymmetricDS to design, develop, and manage data synchronization solutions across distributed databases and systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database replication, ETL processes, and system integration, ensuring seamless and reliable data movement across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain data replication and synchronization solutions using JumpMind SymmetricDS. - Configure and manage bi-directional and multi-master database replication environments. - Develop and optimize ETL processes for data integration across multiple systems. - Monitor data synchronization jobs and troubleshoot replication issues to ensure high availability and performance. - Work closely with database administrators, application developers, and DevOps teams to implement data integration strategies. - Perform database performance tuning and optimization related to replication and synchronization. - Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across distributed systems. - Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. - Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements related to JumpMind solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in JumpMind SymmetricDS development and configuration. - Strong knowledge of database replication, synchronization, and data integration concepts. - Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar. - Proficiency in SQL, database schema design, and performance tuning. - Experience with ETL tools and data migration processes. - Understanding of Linux/Unix environments and scripting. - Familiarity with REST APIs and integration frameworks is a plus. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Experience working with distributed systems or multi-site data synchronization environments. - Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, or integration frameworks. - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
