The selected candidate will work on advanced geospatial projects involving cloud-based infrastructure and large satellite datasets. This is a 3-year contractual position, extendable based on performance and project needs. Educational Qualification Any one of the following: Postgraduate degree in GIS / Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics or related discipline BE / B.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics & Communication / Information Technology MCA Experience Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in image analysis and GIS-related work Key Responsibilities Perform satellite image processing for optical and microwave datasets Carry out georeferencing, GIS data creation, DEM creation and analysis Execute microwave satellite data processing and interpretation Utilize Google Earth Engine (GEE) for geospatial analysis and automation Integrate satellite, biophysical, and ground-based datasets Analyze and interpret satellite imagery, weather, and climate data Work on spatial analysis, visualization, and technical documentation Coordinate with project teams to meet defined deliverables Technical Skills & Tools Strong experience with ERDAS Imagine, ArcGIS, ENVI, SNAP, or similar GIS software Hands-on experience in Optical & Microwave image analysis Proficiency in Google Earth Engine (GEE) Understanding of cloud infrastructure for geospatial data storage and computation Strong knowledge of GIS workflows and spatial analysis Desired Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Understanding of correlation between satellite data and biophysical parameters Exposure to ground weather and climate datasets is an added advantage Ability to work independently in a project-based environment Good communication and documentation skills Contract Details Contract Duration: 3 Years Extension: Extendable based on performance and project requirements Interview Mode: Virtual Interview Work Location: PAN Madhya Pradesh
