Job Description

The Sales Executive will be responsible for end-to-end sales of solar EPC projects, including lead qualification, site visits, technical understanding of customer requirements, proposal discussions, and deal closure. The role requires strong solar industry experience, customer relationship management skills, and the ability to convert leads into business opportunities.Key Responsibilities1. Lead Management & Customer Engagement- Handle inbound and outbound leads through CRM platforms (Zoho CRM). - Understand customer requirements across Industrial, Commercial, and Government schemes such as PM-KUSUM. - Conduct qualification discussions with potential customers and schedule site visits. - Share brochures, proposals, SLDs, layouts, and relevant technical documents with clients. - Maintain continuous follow-ups and develop strong customer relationships to drive conversions.2. Technical Understanding & Site Assessments- Conduct site visits across Maharashtra (MH) and Rajasthan (RJ) to evaluate feasibility for solar installations. - Understand load requirements, roof/land availability, and basic technical feasibility. - Coordinate with the design and engineering team for system sizing and energy generation estimates. - Provide necessary inputs to prepare BOQs, DPRs, and techno-commercial proposals.3. Proposal Discussions & Customer Presentations- Present techno-commercial proposals, savings analysis, and ROI calculations to clients. - Explain solar models such as CAPEX, PPA, Net Metering, Open Access, and PM-KUSUM schemes. - Clearly communicate the company’s quality standards, engineering expertise, and project execution capabilities.4. Deal Closure & Documentation- Handle commercial discussions and negotiations with clients. - Coordinate for LOA signing, documentation, subsidy support, and financing processes if required. - Ensure smooth transition of the project to the execution team after deal closure.5. Cross-Functional Coordination- Work closely with engineering, procurement, finance, and marketing teams. - Share market insights and customer feedback to improve offerings and sales strategies.RequirementsEducation- B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory). - Diploma candidates are not eligible for this role. - MBA in Marketing will be an added advantage.Experience- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Solar EPC Sales (Industrial, Commercial, or Government solar projects). - Strong experience in solar solution selling and client relationship management. - Freshers are not eligible for this role.Skills & Competencies- Strong understanding of solar rooftop and ground-mounted systems. - Ability to explain ROI, payback period, and cost savings to customers. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills. - Comfortable with frequent travel and field sales activities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM tools (Zoho CRM). - Target-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.Location & Language Requirement- Role involves working across Maharashtra (MH) and Rajasthan (RJ) markets. - Proficiency in local languages such as Marathi and Marwari/Rajasthani is preferred to effectively engage with regional customers.
