Job Title:Linux Support Engineer role – L1Job Type: Fulltime Experience: Fresher or 0-1 year Location: Remote (Any region) Shifts: 24X7 support, (6:00am – 2:00pm, 2:00pm – 10:00pm, 10:00pm – 6:00 am) Candidate: 2 positions.About the company: Founded in 2019, DigiRDP is a leading cloud-based service provider specializing in Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) and Virtual Private Server (VPS) solutions. About the role: We are looking for a motivated L1 Linux Support Engineer to provide first-level technical support for our Linux and Windows systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Linux fundamentals and networking basics and be able to communicate effectively with customers while handling support tickets and chats. Roles and Responsibility: • Provide basic troubleshooting for Linux and Windows systems. • Handle L1 supports tickets and live chats through tools like WHMCS and tawk.to. • Monitor, track, and resolve support requests efficiently. • Escalate complex technical issues to L2/L3 teams as needed. • Document solutions and maintain knowledge base for recurring issues. Skills set: • Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals and Linux commands. • Basic knowledge of networking concepts. • Familiarity with support tools such as WHMCS and tawk.to is a plus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple support requests simultaneously.
