Job Description

About Lynk AI                                                                                                                                                                                                           We're building Email AI — artificial intelligence that processes documents flowing through email. Extract data, validate it, fill forms, send it back. No manual re-keying, no back-and-forth, no lost attachments.                                                                                                                                                                                                          We're at ground zero. No customers yet. That's why this role exists.                                                                                                                                                                               What you'll actually do                                                                                                                                                                                                      This is not a sales job. There is no deck, no quota, no CRM to fill. Your job is to find 3-5 companies drowning in document-heavy email workflows, embed yourself in their operations, and help us build the product around their real pain.                                                                                                           Specifically:                                                                                                                          - Talk to 50+ people across insurance, fintech/banking, and trade/export in your first 30 days  - Find the ones whose eyes light up when you describe what we're building- Convince 3-5 of them to become design partners — let us process their documents for free while we build                                                    - Sit with their teams, watch how they work, document every painful step - Report back: /"Here's what they actually need, here's what they don't care about, here's what we should build first/"                                              - Stay embedded with partners through build cycles — you're the bridge between their pain and our engineering                                                                                                                                                            Where to look (based on our research)                                                                                                                                                                                                We've identified three verticals with massive, validated pain in India:                                                                                                                                                                               - Insurance claims — hospitals, TPAs, and insurers passing documents back and forth with no standardization. Insurers deliberately stall with repeated document requests.                     - KYC collection — banks demanding documents they already have, freezing accounts, compliance teams burned out from manual verification. - Export/trade — customs, GST, and RBI systems don't talk to each other. Small exporters drowning in paperwork that kills their business.                                    You don't need to cover all three. Find the warmest path into one and go deep.                                                                 You're right for this if you:                                                                                          - Have worked in or sold into insurance, banking/fintech, or trade/logistics in India                                                              - Know how to get meetings without a brand behind you — warm intros, LinkedIn, showing up at industry events, whatever works                                          - Are comfortable with ambiguity — we're figuring out what to build, not selling something that exists - Can talk to an operations manager at 10am and explain technical requirements to engineers at 3pm                                                         - Have done 0-to-1 before, or desperately want to                                                                                 - Don't need a playbook — you'll write the playbook                                                                                                                                                                                          You're NOT right for this if you:                                                                                        - Want a defined product to sell with collateral and a demo                                                                           - Need a large team or budget to be effective                                                                                 - Think /"GTM/" means running paid ads                                                                                       - Are uncomfortable hearing /"no/" 40 times before your first /"yes/"                                                                        What we offer                                                                                                  - Founding team role with equity                                                                                         - Competitive salary (for India market)    - Direct line to the founder — no layers                                                                                     - The chance to define how Lynk AI enters one of the largest underserved markets in the world                                                          How to apply                                                                                                   Don't send a resume. Send a short note (LinkedIn message or email) answering two questions:                                                           1. Which of the three verticals would you go after first, and why? 2. How would you get your first 5 meetings in the next 2 weeks?                                                                        If your answers are sharp, we'll talk.
