Interior Designer - InternshipLocation: Bangalore, India | Internship | On-Site About the RoleWe are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Interior Designer Intern to join our growing team. This is a hands-on internship where you will work alongside experienced designers and project leads, translating concepts into compelling spatial designs. If you have a passion for aesthetics, a sharp eye for detail, and the technical chops to bring ideas to life on screen -this is the role for you. What You'll Do· Assist in developing interior design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts· Create and modify detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and other CADD software· Prepare working drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings· Support senior designers in client presentations and design documentation· Research materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and fittings (FF&E) as per project requirements· Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and project teams to ensure design intent is executed accurately· Maintain and organise project files, drawing sets, and design libraries· Assist in site visits and inspections to understand space constraints and on-ground execution What We're Looking For· Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD - 2D drafting and detailing is a must· Familiarity with CADD software such as SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar tools· Good understanding of design principles -space planning, colour theory, material selection, and lighting· Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail· Ability to interpret briefs and translate them into practical, visually compelling design solutions· Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and interior finishes· Good communication skills - ability to present and explain design ideas clearly· Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a team environment Qualifications· Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field· Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory· Knowledge of tools such as SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray, CorelDRAW, or Adobe Suite is an advantage· A design portfolio showcasing projects, drawings, or concept work is highly preferred What You'll Gain· Real-world, end-to-end exposure to interior design projects across diverse spaces· Mentorship from experienced designers and direct feedback to sharpen your craft· Hands-on experience with professional CADD tools and industry-standard workflows· A strong portfolio addition with live project work· Potential for a full-time offer based on performance· Stipend provided (Will be shared with the shortlisted candidates) How to Apply - What to Send UsWe believe your work speaks louder than your resume.
