Role: Digital R&D – Veeva Configuration ExpertLocation: HyderabadExperience: 7+ YearsDomain: Life Sciences | Healthcare | Digital R&DRole OverviewWe are looking for a Veeva Configuration Expert to support Digital R&D platforms and drive configuration excellence across Veeva Vault applications. This role focuses on designing, configuring, and maintaining regulated systems while ensuring compliance with GxP standards and supporting global digital transformation initiatives in the healthcare and life sciences domain.Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Configuration & DevelopmentDesign, configure, and maintain Veeva Vault applications and SDK components based on business requirementsManage application configurations including lifecycle management, workflows, objects, and security modelsAnalyze new Veeva product releases and recommend remediation or enhancement strategiesCollaboration & DeliveryWork closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with digital and regulatory standardsPartner with internal support teams to resolve incidents and technical issues related to Veeva platformsDocument configurations, changes, and technical specifications in JIRA, Confluence, or approved repositoriesQuality, Compliance & GovernanceEnsure adherence to GxP compliance, validation (CSV), and quality standardsConduct peer reviews to maintain consistency and quality across configurationsTroubleshoot and debug configuration issues while implementing best practicesContinuous ImprovementStay updated on Veeva Vault releases, SDK enhancements, and emerging technologiesSupport improvements in release management, change control, and system governanceRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field7+ years of experience configuring Veeva Vault applications in a regulated (GxP) environmentMandatory Veeva Certification in one or more Vault applicationsStrong knowledge of Veeva Vault configuration, workflows, lifecycle management, objects, and security modelsExperience working in Agile environments using tools such as JIRA and ConfluenceStrong stakeholder communication and collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in complex, regulated environmentsPreferred / Nice to HaveExperience developing or maintaining Veeva SDKs or custom integrationsUnderstanding of software development lifecycle, release management, and change control processesExperience within healthcare or life sciences industry environments
