We are on a mission to make structured, quality sport accessible to every neighbourhood — and football is our next major vertical to scale.Role OverviewWe are looking for a dynamic Senior Manager to build and lead PlayAll's football academy vertical from the ground up. This is a leadership role that sits at the intersection of football expertise, operational management, and commercial ownership. You will be the single point of accountability for everything that happens on the pitch — and on the P&L — across our football academy network.This is not a coaching role. It is a leadership role for someone who understands football deeply, knows how to build and manage teams, and has the commercial instinct to grow a business.Key Responsibilities1. Coach Recruitment & Roster Management• Identify, hire, and onboard qualified football coaches across PlayAll venues in Delhi NCR• Build a structured coach pipeline — grassroots sourcing, certifications, and internal promotion pathways• Conduct regular performance reviews and maintain coach quality standards• Handle coach scheduling, coverage, and contingency planning across venues2. Curriculum & Programme Design• Design age-appropriate, progressive football curriculum for batches from beginner to advanced levels• Standardise training methodology across all venues so a student gets the same quality experience at any PlayAll location• Plan seasonal programming, camps, and tournaments to drive engagement and retention• Stay updated on modern coaching methodologies and incorporate best practices3. Commercial Ownership (P&L)• Own the cost, profitability, and commercial outcomes of the football academy vertical• Track batch fill rates, per-venue performance, and monthly trends — and take corrective action• Work with the operations team on pricing strategy, batch sizing, and enrollment targets• Identify underperforming venues and drive turnaround plans• Maintain healthy unit economics as the vertical scales to additional venues4. Student Enrollment & Retention• Oversee the end-to-end student journey from trial session through long-term enrollment• Collaborate with academy managers on conversion processes and follow-up protocols• Drive student retention through programme quality, parent communication, and milestone tracking• Handle escalations from parents professionally and resolve issues promptly5. Quality Assurance & Standards• Conduct regular venue visits across Delhi NCR to review coaching quality• Define and enforce safety protocols, equipment standards, and session quality benchmarks• Create feedback mechanisms (parent surveys, coach assessments) and act on data• Ensure consistent brand and experience standards across all PlayAll football academies6. Reporting & Strategy• Report directly to the Co-Founder with regular updates on operational and commercial performance• Build the football vertical playbook that can eventually be replicated for other sports• Contribute to expansion decisions — which new venues to activate, sequencing, and resource planningCandidate ProfileEssential• 5–8 years of experience in football — coaching, academy management, or sports operations• Prior experience managing a team of coaches or running an academy (not just playing or coaching individually)• Strong commercial acumen — comfortable with targets, cost management, and basic financial reporting• Excellent interpersonal skills — able to manage coaches, handle parents, and work with venue staff• Willingness to travel extensively across Delhi NCR venues• High ownership mindset — treats the vertical as their own businessPreferred• Recognised football coaching licence (AFC C/B Licence or equivalent)• Experience working with multi-location sports organisations or franchise networks• Familiarity with youth development programmes and age-group periodisation• Existing network of qualified football coaches in North/Central IndiaWhat We Offer• High autonomy and fast decision-making with direct leadership access• Opportunity to build a vertical from the ground up — this is a blank canvas role• Clear path to expansion: football is the pilot; success here opens up scale across sports and cities• Competitive fixed compensation + performance-linked incentives tied to P&L growth• A young, energetic team that cares deeply about sport and impactCompensation• Fixed CTC: ₹9 – 12 Lakhs per annum (based on experience and fit)• Performance Bonus: Linked to academy growth, batch fill rates, coach quality scores, and P&L outcomes — paid quarterlyTotal earning potential increases meaningfully as the vertical scales
