Our systems support live classes, CRM workflows, payments, and internal automation tools used daily by multiple teams.We are looking for a senior Laravel Backend Developer who can take ownership of backend services and contribute to system scalability and performance.Role OverviewThe Laravel Backend Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs. This role requires strong experience in Laravel, MySQL performance optimization, and the ability to work with complex business logic while leveraging AI-assisted development tools for efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend services using Laravel (PHP)Build secure and scalable RESTful APIsManage and optimize MySQL databases, queries, and large datasetsImplement caching, queues, cron jobs, and background workersCollaborate with frontend developers and product teams for integrationsTroubleshoot production issues and deliver long-term solutionsUse AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor.ai, GitHub Copilot) for faster debugging, refactoring, and documentationEnsure clean, secure, and maintainable codebasesMentor junior developers and participate in code reviewsRequired Skills & Experience4–5 years of strong hands-on experience with Laravel frameworkDeep understanding of OOP principles, MVC architecture, and API-driven developmentAdvanced experience with MySQL optimization, indexing, and performance tuningExperience implementing authentication, authorization, and security best practicesStrong command of Git, Linux environments, and deployment workflowsComfortable using AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor.ai or similarGood to HaveExperience scaling SaaS or high-traffic platformsKnowledge of Redis, queues, and event-driven systemsExposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.)Familiarity with modular or microservice-based architectures
