Position: Plant HR HeadLocation: Peddapally Village, near Balanagar Check Post, Bangalore HighwayIndustry: FMCG ManufacturingPreference: 40 – 50 years Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Plant HR Head to lead the Human Resources function for a large FMCG manufacturing facility located near Shadnagar, Balanagar Check Post on the Bangalore Highway.The plant operates on a 30acre dedicated manufacturing site producing home care products such as detergents and shampoos for a leading multinational brand, with a workforce strength of approximately 1200 employees including contract manpower (900)The role requires strong expertise in stakeholder liaising, industrial relations, statutory compliance, contract labor management and HR operations in a large manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:Stakeholder Liaisoning Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, government departments, and regulatory bodies. Represent the organization during inspections, compliance reviews, and external interactions. Contract Labor Management Manage large scale contract workforce operations. Ensure proper compliance with contract labor regulations and documentation. Coordinate with contractors for manpower planning and productivity. HR & IR Leadership Lead the overall HR and Industrial Relations function for the manufacturing plant. Maintain a stable and positive industrial environment (currently a non-unionised setup). Implement HR policies and employee engagement initiatives aligned with business objectives. Statutory Compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, factory regulations, and statutory requirements. Oversee documentation, audits, and government inspections. Audit & Compliance Management Lead preparation and coordination for global and customer audits. Ensure adherence to international compliance standards and internal policies. Team Leadership Manage and develop the plant HR team. Drive HR initiatives related to workforce planning, training, and performance management. Candidate Profile Graduate / Postgraduate in HR / IR / Personnel Management (MBA HR preferred). 15–20 years of experience, with significant exposure to manufacturing plant HR operations. Strong experience in industrial relations, contract labor management, statutory compliance, and government liaising. Exposure to large manufacturing environments (FMCG / consumer goods / industrial manufacturing) preferred. Proven ability to manage large manpower strength (1000+ workforce).
