They strive to improve the lives of those affected by cancer by offering comprehensive assistance, including medical care, emotional support, and practical resources.Summary:A Mumbai-based non-profit organization providing holistic care, financial aid, and accommodation to cancer patients is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Fundraising to lead the trust’s fundraising efforts. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to secure financial support from various sources, including philanthropists, corporate CSR departments, retail fundraising, grants, and other funding opportunities. The Head of Fundraising will play a crucial role in creating awareness about our activities, building relationships with donors, compliance, and reporting.Role and Responsibilities:Identify and cultivate relationships with domestic high net worth (HNI) individuals, corporate CSR departments, and other potential donorsMaintain existing relationships with donors incl. CSR partners, HNIs (friends and family), individual donors, and MSW doctorsLeverage own CSR and HNI network to raise funds aligned with the trust's programsDevelop long-term fundraising strategies to meet annual fundraising targetsHandle end-to-end CSR Compliance incl. CSR reporting formats, CSR law requirements, trust deeds, registrations, renewalsOversee annual reporting and donor-specific documentationEnsure timely and accurate submission of all required compliance documentationPrepare quarterly reports on the utilisation of funds, demonstrating transparency and accountability to donorsWork closely with Head of Content to create compelling reports, presentations, and pitches to communicate the impact of the Trust's programs and projects to donorsActively seek out and apply for grants from foundations, government agencies, and different funding channelsGeneral Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with diverse stakeholdersStrategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategiesResults-oriented, with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of cancer patients and their familiesAble to work independently & with a hands-on approach to executionTechnical Skills:Strong knowledge and understanding of CSR laws, compliance, and reporting formats in IndiaPrior Experience:7-10 years of experience in fundraising within the NGO sector, with a proven track record of surpassing targetsExperience in the healthcare sector and working with cancer patients is highly desirableQualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.Reporting to:CEOTo ApplyPlease write to us with your CV
