Job Title: Level 2 Technical Support ExecutiveJob Type: Fulltime Experience: 2-3years Location: Remote (Any region) Shifts: 24X7 support, (6:00am – 2:00pm, 2:00pm – 10:00pm, 10:00pm – 6:00 am) Candidate: 2 positions. About the company: Founded in 2019, DigiRDP is a leading cloud-based service provider specializing in Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) and Virtual Private Server (VPS) solutions. About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled Linux/Windows Server Administrator (L2 – Level 2 Technical Support) with hands-on experience in hosting/VPS environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring high availability and performance of critical services. You will work closely with Level 1 support teams to resolve escalated tickets, optimize server infrastructure, and automate repetitive tasks. Roles and Responsibility: • Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.• Perform OS patching, upgrades, and kernel updates to ensure security and stability. • Troubleshoot server outages, performance bottlenecks, and service failures. • Identify root causes of technical issues and implement effective solutions. • Handle escalations from L1 support and provide timely resolutions. • Monitor server health, performance, and security using monitoring tools. • Configure and manage virtualization platforms, including VMware, KVM, and Proxmox. • Implement network configurations and troubleshoot using MTR/Traceroute; manage BGP, NAT, and VLAN setups. • Configure and manage IPMI/KVM, DHCP servers, RAID, and storage systems. • Set up load balancing, high availability, and firewall/security policies. • Deploy, manage, and orchestrate Docker containers and other container technologies. • Automate server and network tasks using Ansible or similar tools. • Work with leading control panels such as cPanel, Plesk, Hestia, and Direct Admin.Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong Linux troubleshooting skills and production environment experience. • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a Hosting/VPS company or similar environment. • Deep knowledge of leading hosting control panels (cPanel, Hestia, DirectAdmin, Plesk). • Strong experience with virtualization, including KVM and VMware. • Network configuration expertise and experience interpreting MTR/Traceroute. • Knowledge of BGP, NAT, VLAN, DHCP server configuration, and management. • Experience with Ansible automation, Docker, container orchestration, and high availability setups. • Proficiency in firewall tools, security policies, load balancing, and RAID/storage management. • Excellent communication skills and ability to document and explain complex issues.
