Location: Bapu Nagar, Jaipur (Full-time, On-site)Role OverviewMænaam is seeking a Designer who will take ownership of both collection development and production coordination. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and handwork, along with the ability to work closely with karigars, master tailors, and production teams to ensure collections are executed to a high standard and delivered on schedule.This position is suited for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced, growing brand environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop seasonal collections aligned with the brand’s aesthetic and quality standardsTranslate design concepts into production-ready garments through clear sketches and specificationsWork closely with master tailors, karigars, and production teams to ensure accurate execution of designsManage the sampling process from concept to final sample approvalCoordinate fabric, trim, and material sourcing required for sampling and productionMonitor production timelines to ensure collections are completed and launched on scheduleMaintain quality control across samples and production piecesTrack development progress and proactively address production or sampling delaysAssist with preparation for exhibitions, launches, and special collections when requiredTravel when necessary for exhibitions, sourcing, or production coordinationRequirements3–5 years of experience in fashion design or collection development, preferably with a premium or luxury brandStrong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, embroidery, and handwork techniquesExperience working directly with karigars, master tailors, and production unitsAbility to manage multiple stages of garment development and production timelinesStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently while maintaining clear communication with the teamHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality standardsWillingness to travel when required for exhibitions or sourcingIdeal CandidateHas experience working with high-quality or luxury fashion brandsDemonstrates strong design sensibility with practical production knowledgeTakes ownership of responsibilities and ensures work moves forward without constant supervisionIs organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a startup environment
