They are full of grit, spunk and driven by our mission to make a positive impact on a very important industry that can improve healthcare for people around the world.About the RoleDue to our continued growth, we are hiring a Senior Manager – Product Release to lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of product releases, ensuring seamless delivery and cross-functional alignment.ResponsibilitiesSupport and participate in L7’s quality management system (QMS) by complying with the Quality Policy and SOPs, and by meeting L7’s QMS objectives.Plan the release roadmap and release cycles across a portfolio.Identify and track release scope, schedule, and quality.Risk Management related to release quality and schedule.Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations.Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes.Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.Provide weekly Release Reports to stakeholders.Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required.Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities.Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code merges.Maintain the release schedule to ensure alignment across stakeholders.Continually work towards improvements in the release process.Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.Develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms.Coordinate with Implementation teams to identify delivery milestones.Manage hot fixes as needed.Educate teams on best practice Agile software development within a regulated environment.Participate in product leadership meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks.Maintain release documentation and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.8-10 years of experience in information systems operations environment.2-6 years of previous software release management and/or project management experience.Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, within regulated software experience preferred.General knowledge of software development tools (JIRA, BitBucket).Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must.Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.Drive alignment on key initiatives.Formal training in project management practices preferred.
