Job Title: Manager – Program (Student to Professional) and CatalystLocation: Bangalore, KarnatakaTravel : Frequent travel to project sites and govt officesReporting to: Executive DirectorPosition Overview:As the Manager (Government Partnerships & Programs), you will provide strategic leadership and oversee the implementation of Students to Professional Career Planning initiatives. This role involves high-level government liaison, stakeholder engagement, program monitoring, resource management, and team leadership to drive impactful programs across states.You will be responsible for strategizing and managing the overall implementation of S2P and affiliated programs as part of the Samagra Shiksha Skill development or as may the case be. You will lead the end to end management of the programs in the state, coordinate with government officials, oversee program execution, develop partnerships, manage teams, and drive policy advocacy to ensure the successful implementation and scaling.This role requires strong leadership, project and team management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to navigate government systems and influence policy.Also, represent Anahata’s S2P vision in meetings, workshops, and public forums.Key Responsibilities:1. Program Leadership & Strategy● Drive S2P projects and initiatives including on ground implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 for Career Guidance● Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for implementing S2P Career Planning and Career Guidance Cells under the Samagra Shiksha Program in the states.● Build alignment with national and state education policies, collaborating with relevant stakeholders for effective execution.● Build partnerships and collaborations with different stakeholder groups including non-profits, government bodies and philanthropic and CSR organisations for supporting projects2. Government Liaison & Policy Advocacy● Serve as the primary point of contact for state-level education departments, ensuring smooth implementation of vocational education initiatives.● Represent UE in government meetings, forums, and consultations to advocate for skill education reforms.● Work closely monitor S2P program activities across states● Periodic meetings and reporting to Sr Govt. officials and key stakeholders3. Stakeholder Management & Industry Engagement● Develop and strengthen partnerships with Skill development, SCERT, Samagra, Pre University department, residential school department, tribal school department and Education department and other key organizations.● Facilitate active participation of donors to enhance Public-Private-Partnerships for the better future of our students.● Organize and lead multi-stakeholder meetings, conferences, and training sessions.4. Program Implementation, Monitoring & Learning/Feedback● Manage team, ensuring high-quality delivery of S2P by govt school teachers across states.● Develop monitoring frameworks and data-driven decision-making processes to track program impact.● Drive the key initiatives of govt related to career guidance like setting up Career Guidance Cells in each taluk and supporting PU department with Internships, and effective roll out of technology systems in the state.● Closely work with the S2P Curriculum and Pedagogy team to ensure the learnings from the field are regularly being incorporated into the S2P curriculum● Work closely with the S2P Curriculum and Pedagogy team to ensure the Master Resource Persons are having high level proficiency and well versed in different pedagogical methodologies to conduct effective and impactful training of teachers5. Budgeting & Resource Management● Manage program budgets and resource allocation to ensure impactful implementation.● Work with internal teams to streamline processes and documentation, including drafting official proposals, presentations, and government submissions.6. Team Leadership & Capacity Building● Lead and mentor State teams (Project Management Units and project implementation team on ground project coordinators, instructors, and field staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.● Provide training and capacity-building support to ensure teams are well equipped to deliver high-impact programs.● Ensure knowledge sharing and adoption of best practices across teams.Minimum Qualifications & Experience –● Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Policy, Management, Education, or a related field.● 8–10 years of experience in:o Government engagemento Program implementationo Experience in leading a teamo Strong understanding of government schemes and policy frameworks related to education and skill development● Experience in:o Advocacyo Project managemento Strategic planningo Managing large-scale education programs● Ability to work independently while being a team player in a fast-paced environment● Willingness to travel extensively as requiredPreferred Qualifications & Experience● Well versed with MIS systems● Experience leading education initiativesKey Attributes● Proven ability to build and manage relationships with government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders● Strong advocacy and negotiation skills to influence policy decisions● Ability to manage large teams, multi-stakeholder coordination, and complex program implementation● Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making and reporting skills● Fluency in English and the state’s official language (spoken and written)● Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)About Anahata United Efforts FoundationAnahata United Efforts Foundation, established in 2018, offers socially economically challenged students an unique approach to shaping their future careers.
