Role is responsible for managing and controlling travel‑related accounting activities, ensuring accurate processing of travel expenses, compliance with company policies, and adherence to accounting and statutory requirements. The role supports financial reporting, audits, and cost optimization initiatives.Manage and validate travel expense transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.Review employee travel claims, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely reimbursements.Reconcile and account for travel vendor invoices and travel advances.Ensure proper GL coding, cost centre allocation, and recording of accruals/provisions in the ERP.Support month-end and year-end closing related to travel expenses.Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and improve processes.Support internal and external audits through documentation and clarifications.Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.2-4 years of experience in expense accounting or accounts payable.Strong knowledge of travel expense audits, vendor payments, accruals, and month‑end close.Experience with expense management tools and ERP systems.Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
