Job Description

Hiring: Electronics Engineer (Mixed-Signal, PCB Bring-up)Location: HyderabadExperience: 3–7 yearsCompensation: CompetitiveAbout UsPhoQtek Labs is a deep-tech startup building precision inertial sensing and control products for navigation and autonomous systems. You will join as an Electronics Engineer, playing a crucial role in developing these systems. What You'll Do• Design low-noise analog and mixed-signal circuits (sensor front-ends, filtering, ADC/DAC interfacing)• Own end-to-end PCB design (stack-up, layout, grounding, power distribution, EMI management)• Coordinate PCB fabrication and assembly; lead board bring-up and debugging in the lab• Implement real-time signal processing• Work with photonics-related electronics: photodiode + TIA front-ends, laser diode drivers, precision temperature control, and noise-critical layoutsWhat We're Looking ForMust-Have• Proven end-to-end ownership of at least 1–2 custom boards (schematic → PCB → bring-up → working product) in an R&D or product development environment• Strong analog fundamentals: low-noise design, precision amplifiers, filtering, and sensor interfacing• Hands-on lab skills: oscilloscope, signal generators, spectrum analyzers; noise measurement is a plus• PCB design proficiency (KiCad or similar)• Self-starter mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, iterative debugging, and making independent design decisionsStrong Plus• Experience with photonics/optics electronics: photodetector circuits, laser drivers, optical sensing systems, fiber handling• DFM/DFT mindset: designing for testability and manufacturability from day one• Precision measurement background: IMUs, gyroscopes, accelerometers, LiDAR, or similar sensor systemsNice to Have• Experience with closed-loop control systems• Familiarity with modulation/demodulation techniques• Exposure to environmental testing (thermal, vibration, EMI/EMC)What We Offer• High ownership: your designs go from breadboard to product• Deep technical work: solve challenging problems in precision sensing (sub-µV noise floors, thermal stability, phase detection)• Learning opportunities: work across analog, digital, and optical domainsHow to ApplyDM or email: Include:Your resume/CVA brief note (3–4 sentences) on your most complex board bring-up experienceLinks to any portfolios, GitHub, or project documentation (optional but appreciated)We Will Prioritize Candidates Who• Have built precision analog circuits from scratch• Can demonstrate tangible hardware projects (photos, schematics, test data)• Are excited about solving hard technical problems
